The Basilica of Bom Jesus church is known for its baroque architecture and is just 2.9km away from our hotel. The Basilica of Bom Jesus church is devoted to St. Francis Xavier. The church coincides with the beginning of Christianity in India. It is the first Minor Basilica in India and has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Fort Aguada

Aguada Fort is one of the major heritage sites in Goa. The fort was built to block the entry of ships into the Mandovi river. This protected the old Goa from the Dutch and Marathas. ‘Aguada’ meaning water, the fort provided water supply to the ships that used to stop by. Every traveler wants to shop during their trip. Our hotel is close to Anjuna market which is about 8 km away. The market will be held from 9 am to 6 pm every Wednesday. Initially, it was started as a ‘Hippie-exchange’ and now it is popularly known as ‘Flea Market’. This most famous market has various kind of clothes, jewelry, art, music and much more, at best rates. Chapora Fort

The fort is located 12.4 km away from the Kyriad Goa Hotel. The Chapora Fort is close to the Vagator beach and is very popular sightseeing destination in Goa. It is also known as ‘Shahpura’ meaning ‘Town of the Shahs’. The fort has wide walls which one can walk around the fort. You can easily reach the fort by local buses from Mapusa or you can also hire a taxi for comfortable traveling.
